Improvements from Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgery procedure that increases breast size and improves breast shape. For women who have never been happy with their breast size or fullness, augmentation is a long-term solution that can improve both their look and their outlook. Women from Seattle and Tacoma also choose breast augmentation to restore lost volume following pregnancy or weight loss. Whatever your reason, Dr. Braden Stridde is known for his extensive experience and training in the latest surgical methods, including the latest generation of gel implants. He can provide you with a naturally enhanced look that is balanced and proportional.
At Your Consultation
Dr. Stridde is familiar with the various breast implant options and surgical approaches to best meet each of patient's unique needs. After a thorough discussion with you at your consultation, Dr. Stridde will guide you through the breast augmentation decision-making process, reviewing implant size, shape, incision location, and position above or below the muscle. Along the way, he will make recommendations or share his preferences, and take the time to explain in detail the various options and trade-offs.
In some cases, Dr. Stridde may recommend a breast lift in addition to or instead of breast augmentation. Women are encouraged to come in for a consultation and see for themselves the personalized attention we provide every patient.
Your Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation surgery usually takes about 1 to 2 hours to perform. Dr. Stridde makes the incisions as small as possible and places them where they are well concealed. Your breast implants will be placed either above or below the pectoral muscle depending on your preference and surgeon recommendation.

Recovery After Surgery
After breast augmentation surgery, your breasts will be supported with a post-surgical bra to aid in recovery, and you'll be sent home to rest in comfort. All patients receive prescriptions for an adequate supply of pain medication. Some discomfort and lack of energy are common for the first few days, and many women find it helpful to have a friend or loved one to help them around the house for a day or 2 after their surgery. A degree of swelling is common, but should steadily diminish over 4 to 6 weeks. You'll be required to wear a surgical support bra to protect your results for a few weeks after the procedure. Dr. Stridde makes every effort to minimize scarring, and scars should begin to lighten and fade after a few months. You should be ready to return to work in about 3 to 7 days.
