Your Breast Augmentation in Seattle

Breast enlargement usually takes about 1 to 2 hours to perform. Incisions are made as small as possible and located so that they are well concealed. Your breast implants will be placed either above or below the pectoral muscle depending on your preference and surgeon recommendation. Recovery after Surgery

After breast augmentation surgery, your breasts will be supported with a post-surgical bra to aid in recovery, and you'll be sent home to rest in comfort. All patients receive prescriptions for an adequate supply of pain medication. Some discomfort and lack of energy are common for the first few days, and many women find it helpful to have a friend or loved one to help them around the house for a day or two after their breast augmentations. A degree of swelling is common, but should steadily diminish over 4 to 6 weeks. You'll be required to wear a surgical support bra to protect your results for a few weeks after the procedure. Dr. Stridde makes every effort to minimize scarring, and scars should begin to lighten and fade after a few months. You should be ready to return to work in about 3 to 7 days.
