Meet Dr. Chung

Seattle plastic surgeon Christopher Y. Chung, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Over his years practicing plastic surgery, he has helped thousands of women and men rejuvenate their appearance and enhance their self image.

Before joining Puget Sound Plastic Surgery near Seattle, Dr. Chung was a successful surgeon who practiced in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He works hard to earn patient trust through honest communication and refined surgical skill. Because his patients stem from all walks of life and have a wide variety of cosmetic goals, Dr. Chung takes the time to develop customized recommendations for each person he serves.

Dr. Chung remains firmly committed to his number one professional priority: Providing the best medical care to his patients. Training & Experience

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis with the Highest Honors, Dr. Chung began his medical education at the prestigious University of California at San Francisco. While at both UC Davis and UC San Francisco, he was recognized with the most prestigious distinction - UC Regents Scholar - earning him a full academic scholarship for all eight years of his schooling.

Dr. Chung has received numerous other awards and honors, and is fully trained in General Surgery with additional Fellowship training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Chung is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons (WSPS). After the birth of his two daughters, Dr. Chung and his family relocated to the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, where he continues to dedicate his professional efforts to providing the best medical care to his plastic surgery patients in the Seattle / Tacoma area. Dr. Chung is supported by his wonderful wife and enjoys raising his two daughters. Dr. Chung's hobbies include hiking, tennis, and listening to classical music. He also enjoys writing, and hopes to devote more time in future to writing historical fiction.
